A browser is software used to browse and interact with local area networks and the internet.

Common browsers include: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Netscape, Google Chrome

You can often tell what version of a browser you have by clicking on "About (Browser)" found within the menus of your toolbar.
