Can I play my downloads on more than one computer? |
|||||
Yes, our downloads can be played on more than one computer. Once you have downloaded the files, you can move them to additional computers using the following steps: The first thing you must do is copy the files to the new machine. You can do this by burning the tracks to a CD as an encoded file (a data file as opposed to a music file). If you are in a network workgroup, you can copy the tracks to additional computers via your local area network. You can also connect two computers using USB cables or save the files on a USB flash drive. In the case of WMA and WMV file formats, this process involves another license; once you have transferred the tracks to the additional computer(s), get on the web from the new computer and login to your store account using your username and password in the fields provided. Another option is to log in on the license prompt that opens when you try to play the first file on the new computer. Now that you are logged into your account, you are ready to play the files on this new computer. You must stay online when playing them for the first time to obtain a license from our system. Once the songs play and the licenses have been obtained, you can use the songs on this computer just as you did on the first computer. |
