To play music downloads from our site, your computer should have a media player application installed and have the components necessary to support such a player.

These are the minimum requirements:

Hardware and Software Requirements and Suggestions

  • Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OSX.
  • Updated browser that supports 128-bit encryption ("Cipher Strength"), such as:
    • Internet Explorer 5.01 or later (note that some operating systems and versions, such as Windows NT 2000 with IE 5 and 6 for example, do not support 128-bit encryption)
    • Mozila Firefox 1.0 or later
    • Netscape 7 or later
    • Safari (see format restrictions above)
    • Google Chrome
  • A 233 megahertz (MHz) processor (such as an Intel Pentium II or Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) processor) or faster
  • 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM or more
  • Sound capability

Supported Players and Jukeboxes

Make sure your computer has a supported player installed before you start downloading. The player's company website will provide you with details about hardware and software requirements when you download and install a media player. Please ensure you are operating the latest version provided by your choice player for best results.

Also: Different combinations and configurations of players, browsers, and operating systems behave very differently. You may need to research each application's settings before you are able to play your downloads. For example, it helps to make sure that only one player on your computer is the default player for audio files.

If you are having trouble configuring your media player, please consult their help documentation.

Mobile Products

For information about mobile handset support of product types and formats, please refer to the mobile product section of this F.A.Q. document; also, please review your handset manual with respect to side-loading of supported formats. A list of our supported handsets is available here. This list represents devices we have successfully tested and confirmed are supported. If your phone is not on this list, it may still be a supported phone.
