How do I request to download mobile content that I see online?

The process varies per store and per device; however, we have provided generic instructions to assist you with downloading mobile product from a Neurotic Media online store.

  1. Browse the website to find the content you wish to download. In some stores, you will need to visit mobile sections such as Ringtones, Truetones, Wallpaper, etc. Also, oftentimes, mobile product is mixed together with online products. You can usually differentiate them by looking in the “Type” column.
  2. Click on the "Buy," "Download" or similar link for the product you want to buy.
  3. If you do not have a User Account set up in the store, you may be prompted to create one. If you do have an account, please log in. Once you are logged in you will not be requested to do so again as you purchase additional products. If you need assistance, please visit this article.
  4. Your requested product will now be processed (if you’re already logged in or are not required to log in, you skip the wallet section and see an immediate process notice on the product page from which you ordered and confirmed your request).
  5. We will send a text message to your handset to verify a purchase request. Some carriers and phones may involve a slightly different type of message delivery than others. If you agree to the content and price point outlined in this message, reply as instructed to confirm your intention to purchase.
  6. A message will be sent back to your handset with a link that you can go to in order to start the download process or a file attached to the message. Click to visit the link on your device or save the file you received as indicated in step h. Note that different devices involve different procedures at this stage in order to store the file download properly.
  7. The content will now be downloaded to your handset.
  8. Once the download is complete, save the new file to your handset.
  9. If you would like your new ringtone to replace your current ringtone selection or for your new image to replace your current wallpaper, go to your phone settings and set it as such.
  10. At the end of your download, you should receive a final text message thanking you for your purchase.
